I hate to have to do this before there is even a body count in the Navy Yard shootings but I feel I must not allow Progressives to gain any ground on the gun issue by stirring the "Assault" rifle pot.
We are in the beginning moments of another crisis where someone has made the decision to use a gun to murder people and I guarantee you Progressives WILL and ARE taking EVERY advantage they possibly can to demonize firearms. They very likely will begin to blame conservatives, Vets and NRA members and they will start screaming for more control.
We can not allow our 2nd amendment rights to be infringed on because of some demented individual(s) choosing to use firearms in a killing spree. It is important for us to know our rights and to stand on them. We have to support those who will take the heat from the Progressive propaganda machine (the media) and let them know we support them.
The last time this happened many gun manufacturers and sporting goods stores like "Dicks" caved to the pressure and gave credence to the "Black" scary gun mantra and refused to continue selling them. The Harrisburg Pa. sports convention also caved and caused us to lose ground and furthered the "Black gun" propaganda. Fortunately the gun owners and sportsman in the North East stood up and sent a clear message to Harrisburg that caused them to cancel the event. We said "If you ban Black guns we will boycott your event", they didn't believe us and they lost which cost the city of Harrisburg and those involved with the propaganda to lose millions of dollars associated with the event. Unfortunately it also cost some stand-up individuals to lose money too, but in every war, and we are in a war, there are always casualties and wounds.

It is going to take all of us standing together, like those in Colorado who shut down the anti-gun legislators, refusing to allow the elite gun haters to infringe our rights.
We have to learn from progressives and not allow a crisis to go to waste. We must act on our feet and turn the battle back on them. Their political correctness is what is killing our fellow Americans not guns.
