During a hearing by the House Oversight committee last week, the mother of one man and the father of another man killed in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 were being sworn in to give their statements before the committee when all but two of the Democrats in the hearing room got up and left the room. Of all the actions by elected officials that have outraged me in the past few years this one in particular angers and disgusts me more than any.

  These two parents had sons who died in service to the nation those Democrats represent, and I might add it was a Democrat who sent them to Benghazi to protect our interests. For the Democrats to get up and walk out on these grieving American Citizens was and is a slap in the face of every American who has served and died to protect our liberty.

 Those Democrats dishonored the deaths of 4 fellow Americans and their families, at least 3 of those killed were brothers in the Lord. As stewards of this great republic it is our responsibility and duty to show our abhorrence of the way they represented us. No one from either political party should be able to treat any citizen with the cold hearted disrespect that these Democrats demonstrated.

   As believers we are to be subject to the authorities over us according to scripture, but the authority over every American are the founding documents not men! Our founders set up a system of government unlike any other in the history of the world and we are required by scripture to honor that authority, we are a nation of laws not men.

  When a person has been elected to represent us they are an employee not a boss or an elite overlord. They are accountable to “WE THE PEOPLE” and it is our responsibility to hold them ALL accountable to the founding documents.

  Those documents tell us clearly how to deal with a government that has become corrupt and out of control. We must stand up and honor the blood that has been shed to sustain our liberty and our right to peacefully assemble and to petition our government for a redress of our grievances. We must also remind those “in power” that they serve at “OUR” request and they are not there to put party or politics ahead of their duty to preserve and protect the Constitution. It is high time we submit to the spirit of liberty that God birthed this republic through and make our voices heard and heard loudly. We are on the verge of collapse as a nation and if we do not act we will be condemning the next generation to be subjects of a cold and heartless government run democracy.

  There are elections coming soon and if the Democrat leadership does not condemn the actions of those in their party I urge every God fearing citizen to call and write letters to every Democrat they plan to vote for and ask them to condemn those actions and if they won’t or they beat around the bush with politically correct wording then let them know you will not support them with your vote.

 We will all give account to God for our actions or inactions as stewards of the republic He designed and then handed over to us ... I will hear Him say 'Well Done" and I hope I will not be alone in hearing those words.
