“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!” Isaiah 9:6

  Though the state of the world is utter turmoil, those of us who have come to know the True and Living God have hope for the future because of the faithfulness of our God to fulfill His promises.

  I am convinced that God has a destiny for America and no human will ever thwart His plans for her. Because God is not a man who can lie all of His Promises are yes and amen and that includes the ultimate rule of Jesus Christ over the affairs of mankind.

  When in the course of history governments inflict tyranny on men there arises within their spirit the desire to resist and to be freed from the oppression of evil. God has planted eternity in the heart of man, which is the knowledge of something greater than himself and that knowledge is the seed of liberty and freedom from the tyranny of manmade limitations on his spirit.

  No one knows when Isaiah’s prophecy will be fulfilled and the idea that we are to just sit back and let history run its course is not an option. If free men had allowed history to play itself out there would be no America and the world would be run by the likes of King George or Adolf Hitler and liberty and personal freedom would not be known.   

 I believe we are to stand against tyrants and promote the God given and God ordained concepts of personal responsibility and liberty. Throughout the Bible we are shown how when enemies arose against the people of God they would go to Him and ask for deliverance. He always showed them how to deal with threats from His enemies and I believe the same must be done by Americans today. It was because the children of Israel refused to fight for their freedom that God not only let them wander in the wilderness for 40 years after they were delivered from oppression in Egypt, He killed them all in the desert except the couple who were willing to go into the “Promised Land” and take on the giants.

  The day is coming when Jesus will return and will be the King of kings and the Lord of lords but until that day arrives we are to contend for the faith and defend the Republic He has birthed. When at last the Lord returns the government will rest on His shoulders and we will be given the crown of Life, but until that day arrives we must not be silent. If America is lost to Progressive ideology it will not and must not be because those who are chosen as stewards of His republic were silent and uninvolved.

  Once again I say that SAVING AMERICA for the advancement of the Kingdom of God must be our highest goal second only to our own personal relationship with Him.
