I ran across this passage of scripture while reading the Book of Acts this morning and thought about what is happening in the political realm today. It's amazing that nothing has changed in 2,000 years (or 6,000) , those who have only their own welfare in mind will stoop to any level to stop a threat to their cause.
The constant demonization of opponents is disgraceful and an insult to the intelligence of voters. Personally I will not vote for someone who finds it necessary to attack their opponent by name calling and exaggerating/distorting the facts. If a candidate can not run on and win by being truthful then he/she was not going to win anyway or was not ordained to win at that time...
